Come visit Glacier National Park, which is only a 35 minute drive to the West Entrance from our beautiful property. Whether you are a very active person ready to tackle every mountain in the Valley, or if you just want to enjoy a good book in the most amazing scenery, Whitefish, Montana, and our property, in particular, has everything you need. Enjoy wildlife viewing from your bedroom or the upstairs deck of the house! Turkeys and Deer frequent the area often along with many different types of birds. Enjoy exploring the 7 acre property with the Whitefish Trails system within walking/skiing distance of the house. In Winter, bring your snowshoes or back country skis and explore the Whitefish Trails System, located 1/4 mile from the house. This area is also a great place to hike, run, or mountain bike from the house in Summer and Fall! For larger back country skiing terrain, visit the Glacier Nordic Club website to find out what other trails nearby are groomed or open. They also have their own nordic course in winter at the Whitefish Lakes Golf Course with night skiing included. Whitefish Mountain Ski Resort on Big Mountain is only 15 miles from the Cabin and is a world class ski resort for skiing and snowboarding. Blacktail Mountain Ski Area is about an hour away.
We are only about a 30 minute drive to Flathead Lake and about 12 minutes to Whitefish Lake. We are also located only minutes from the Flathead River, Whitefish River, and Stillwater River. All with great flyfishing access, kayaking, paddleboarding, and canoeing. Many other lakes are also close, including Blanchard Lake, Tally Lake, Foyes Lake, Echo Lake, and Swan Lake, all will great fishing and boating access. Hungry Horse Reservoir and Jewel Basin are also very close.
Hiking opportunities are endless up here with Glacier National Park, Flathead National Forest, the Bob Marshall Wilderness, and the Whitefish Trails System, plus so much more!
There are many outfitters locally ready to take you on a horseback ride, fly fishing, whitewater rafting, rock climbing, zip lining, hiking, snowmobiling, skiing, pack trips, hunting, mountain biking, etc.
If you want a different type of adventure, Whitefish and Kalispell have so much to offer with first class dining, breweries, shopping, antiquing, and much much more. All within a 10 - 20 minute drive from your cabin! In Summer, there are Farmer's Markets multiple times per week between Whitefish, Kalispell, and Columbia Falls that have fresh baked goods, fresh fruits and vegetables, handcrafted items, food trucks, live music, and fun for everyone in your group.
Horse lovers, competitors, and enthusiasts, we are located approximately 10 minutes from the Majestic Valley Arena and 20 minutes from Rebecca Farm.
