Tucked away in a peaceful residential area between the seaside towns of Hove and Shoreham-by-Sea and a 5-minute walk to the beautiful South Downs, our home is the perfect base from which to explore the surrounding area.
Ideal for hikers, cyclists, water sport enthusiasts, friends and families, we can cater to your unique needs, whether you seek an adventure-packed trip or a relaxing and restorative break.
The space:
Newly renovated in 2022, the entire house and garden are yours to enjoy during your stay. The house is surprisingly spacious, with 3 double rooms, a dedicated workspace/4th bedroom, and comfortable, relaxing indoor and outdoor living areas.
Ground Floor: Downstairs is a light and airy open-plan lounge and dining area with 2 comfortable sofas, a flat-screen TV, and a large wooden dining table.
The spacious conservatory is our favourite versatile space. It has a quiet reading corner and books, board games, and exercise equipment, which you are welcome to use.
The conservatory leads to a private and enclosed garden with a raised patio. It is perfect for watching the evening sunset. On a clear day, you can even see the sea!
The modern and functional kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need, including a small dishwasher, washing machine, lots of storage space, crockery and utensils, and a large family fridge and freezer.
First Floor: Upstairs, there are 2 double bedrooms with King beds. The third bedroom is a small room with a single bed and a dedicated work desk.
The bathroom is clean and newly refurbished, with a bath and an overhead rainforest shower.
Second Floor: The loft space offers a further double bedroom with a king-size bed. Please note that access to this room is via a ladder and, therefore, unsuitable for small children or those with restricted mobility.
All bedrooms offer ample storage, hanging space, and good-quality bed linen and towels.
There are 2 parking spaces on the front drive.
We are dog-friendly, so please feel free to bring your furry friends.
We’ve made every effort to keep our house fresh, bright, and comfortable for guests by using all-natural, non-toxic cleaning products so you can truly breathe easily and relax.
We also provide essentials such as washing up liquid, laundry detergent, bin bags, toilet rolls, shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner so you can pack a little lighter! All the products we use in the house are natural and toxin-free.
Things to do:
A stone’s throw from the stunning South Downs National Park and close by beautiful coastal nature reserves, you can explore many tracks by foot or bike. Bike and E-Bike hire is available locally. We provide maps and can recommend some of the best hikes and trails in the area.
The area also boasts long stretches of beach, canals, and rivers, offering the perfect opportunity to try various water sports, from paddle boarding and kite surfing to wakeboarding and sailing. Or perhaps you want to join the locals and take an invigorating dip in the sea year-round!
A short 20-minute drive takes you to the vibrant city of Brighton, where you will find something for everyone. Regular and convenient bus and train services also run daily.
The nearby towns Hove and Shoreham-by-Sea also offer many lovely cafes, restaurants, and boutique shops.

Other things to note:
While this is a fantastic space for families and groups of friends, we ask that you keep noise to a respectful minimum between 10:00pm and 7:00am out of courtesy to our neighbours. The property is a mid-terraced house so noise can travel. We have a Minut noise sensor installed, which will notify you if noise exceeds an acceptable level for the property type.
Please note that while the house comfortably accommodates 5 people, there is only one bathroom. It is newly refurbished and clean, but you will need to be happy sharing!
A cot is available on request in advance. You will need to bring your own linen.
We can be flexible with check-in and check-out times. Depending on circumstances, this may incur an additional fee. Please let us know your requirements and we can advise.
